The steel cap on the butt feels substantial and well-weighted, not flimsy at all. I was a bit worried the leather handle might be stiff out of the box, but it's actually quite comfortable to hold. For the price, this crop is a fantastic balance of elegance and functionality.

The springy handle gives just the right amount of flex without feeling flimsy, and the wide leather head delivers a satisfying smack. Really well-balanced for precise use.

The steel cap on the butt gives it a nice, solid weight that balances the springy handle perfectly. It delivered a sharp, satisfying crack on the first swing without feeling flimsy.
